Avoid July and August: school-holiday pricing pushes overwater bures into FJD 4,000+ per night when the same room is FJD 2,800–3,200 in late May. The weather is barely better.

How far ahead to book
Peak (Jul/Aug, Christmas/NY): book 6+ months ahead. The marquee properties (Likuliku, Six Senses, Tokoriki) sell out their honeymoon rate plans completely.
Shoulder (May, June, September, October): 3–4 months ahead. Direct resort websites typically beat OTA pricing once you factor in bundled extras (transfers, dinners, kids-stay-free clauses for the rare family pairing).
Honeymoon packages from the resort direct typically include sunset cruises, couples massage, and a “stay X pay Y” structure. They are not advertised on Booking.com.

Second: book direct via the resort website rather than an OTA. Most luxury properties bundle transfers, complimentary upgrades, and dinner credits that the OTAs hide. Saves USD 200–500 across a 6-night stay.
Third: travel in late May or late September rather than July/August. Saves 25–35% on every honeymoon-tier resort.
